Bowling Green is excited to host the final tournament of the inaugural Kayak Adventure Series, “Broodstock I” presented by GoPro! The competition is designed to help anglers get the most out of their kayaks by exploring new regions, and new water, in a unique competitive format that guarantees only one thing – a good time. Over $40,000 in just prizes will be given away, and a “Broodmaster” will be named!
The “Broodstock I” tournament week begins September 29th with anglers exploring the surrounding eligible waterways, then the event kicks off with Opening Ceremonies at the NCM Motorsports Park on Thursday, October 3, with food, drinks & go-karting for participants, friends & family. Friday begins with scouting and the Bass U Brunch followed by the Afternoon Sesh of fishing that officially starts the tournament. Fishing continues on Saturday until 2:30pm, then it’s time to gather back at the National Corvette Museum for Closing Ceremony Festival and Awards including food trucks, merchandise tents and yard games.
At the end of the tournament, only one angler, and one team, will win 1st place, but everyone will be a part of an adventurous experience that takes them to some of the most hidden gem fisheries, and nearby scenic towns and unique awards venues. Anglers will have opportunities and challenges to win in so many new ways, and prize categories, besides just catching the longest 5 bass.
