In 2008 we began a tradition of honoring our veterans with a new event, Vets ‘n Vettes. Thursday kicks off with a half day at the National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park. Complimentary lunch served to all! We will celebrate Friday and Saturday with road tours and a luncheon. The event offers veterans, servicemen and women, and those who want to support them, a comfortable place to meet and share stories and experiences.

Lifetime registration is $35pp, member registration is $40pp and non-member registration is $50pp.

Online registration closes at 9:00am central time on Friday, October 18. There are no refunds for activities after online registration closes. All activities are open to Event Registrants only. On-line registrants will receive a hard card credential, lanyard, and event pin.

  • THIS IS NOT A HIGH-SPEED TRACK EVENT
  • TOURING LAPS (Highway Speeds) ONLY

9:00am Half Day at National Corvette Museum Motorsports Park
Enjoy a half day at the Motorsports Park with touring laps. Lunch provided at the MSP.

  • THIS IS NOT A TRACK EVENT -NO HIGH SPEED DRIVING WILL BE OFFERED
  • Guests also allowed to ride along
  • Driver meeting at 8:45am is MANDATORY
  • EVENT REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED TO DRIVE YOUR CAR ON THE TRACK

Explore the beautiful 200 year old mansion. Stories of deadly duels, horse racing, fortune, fame, demise, all alongside original fine antiques, & significant architectural spaces.

Our talented tour guides perform the song for which the house is named, “My Old Kentucky Home,” on every tour.BJ’s Steakhouse has been a family-owned establishment since 1984. BJ’s Steakhouse has been recognized for having the best steaks by the Kentucky Standard’s Best Steak Award of Nelson County.

We invite you to step back in time and visit Occasions and 5 Chefs, located in the Historic Gossett House. Built in the 1800’s, this Victorian house offers a relaxed atmosphere with friendly service, great food, unique gifts and home décor. During 2004, a major addition was untaken to add more display rooms, the 5 Chef’s restaurant, and a coffee shop. You will find visiting Occasion’s / 5 Chef’s to be a fun and interesting day – well worth your trip!

8:30am – 8:45am MANDATORY Driver’s Meeting – Route and Rules

  • Please line Corvettes up BEFORE 8:30am meeting
  • NO popping clutches / NO revving engines, etc.
  • Cops are in full force during parade
  • National Corvette Museum Grass Circle
8:45am Depart to BG Veterans Day Parade

  •  Stage in Museum Grass Circle
 
9:00am – 10:00am Arrive at Parade – Staging / Prep Cars
10:00am Parade Begins

  • Absolutely NO revving of motors while on cruise route
  • Return to National Corvette Museum at end of cruise
12:00pm – 1:30pm American Legion Annual Veteran’s Luncheon
American Legion will also be serving our participants a private lunch.  We want to support our local American Legion and honor those who have served.
